We preferred the set meal for 3 people (which was £50) and it was definitely worth the money! Would absolutely recommend, it such a nice place with such a lovely atmosphere. The only thing is - it is cash only but there is a cashpoint nearly which I convenient,

The eight-piece mixed sushi is both visually appealing and delicious—highly recommended for those wanting to try it. Paired with a sip of sake, it's truly delightful. The stir-fried dishes are also excellent; I highly recommend the Yakisoba.

Great service and high quality food. The hotpot was excellent and the open kitchen shows they are confident in their cleanliness and skills. Everything prepared fresh and unbelievable value. They also cater well to people with dietary restrictions with allergens clearly marked Cash only but there’s an ATM opposite at the coop

Came here on a whim and left incredibly happy. The food was tasty, fresh and authentic. The staff were friendly and attentive. Portion sizes were perfect and great value for money. Me and my partner both left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. We will absolutely be returning. I’d definitely recommend reserving a table as the restaurant is only small and walk ins are limited.

The sushi itself was a standout. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, fresh, and flavorful, and each piece was crafted with care and precision. You can tell the sushi is made to order with real attention to detail.
This wasn’t our first visit, and it certainly won’t be our last. Every time we’ve been here, we’ve had nothing but amazing experiences. If you're looking for authentic sushi in a welcoming setting, this place is an absolute must-try. 10/10, highly recommend!- Service

Food was fantastic. The owners were so lovely as well and gave my friend one of the boats for sushi when she asked. We're definitely coming again. Cash only though!

We had so much food and it was all sensational. Sushi is 10/10 and great value. The pork Katsu was stunning, seaweed salad amazing and also the maki, and sashimi were banging.
Be aware you need to have cash to pay, which there is a cash point in Sainsbury’s 2 min walk away.- Service

I had chicken katsu curry which was fantastic. Then takoyaki (it's hard to find it so must try), veg tempura, edamame. My partner had chicken ramen and it came as huge portion, never seen so big ramen portions.
I'll definitely come back many times. We went on Wednesday night and it was very busy. Strongly recommend, thank you.
Edit: went again and once again the food was fantastic!- Service

Little hidden restaurant, sushi is amazing and I highly recommend the shichimi beef! I love the owner who is retiring next year so hurry down quickly!! Just be careful when you head to the toilets at the back as the floor can be slippery.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and it was fantastic. The restaurant itself is lovely: well lit, nice music, comfortable seating. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food came out very quickly. We ordered the set menu for 2 which came to £17 each which was great value considering we got miso soup, 8 pcs sushi, 6 pcs gyoza, teriyaki chicken, shichimi beef, rice and a salad. Highlights were the teriyaki chicken (divine) and the miso soup. The only slight let-down was the beef beef - a bit overcooked and chewy - but everything else was delicious and we left feeling stuffed. Overall a great evening and I highly recommend to students for affordable sushi! (Boyfriend says great selection of beers)- Service
